Voter Activation Network (VAN)

Voter Activation Network, frequently refered to as "the VAN" is a Voter contact tool. It is used by most Democratic state parties and was used very successfully by many organizations including the America Votes coalition in 2006.

In 2004, it was used by America Coming Together (ACT) and some other organizations, and widespread problems were reported. However through development and better training by organizations, it is now considered very stable, with good security and easy to use.
